New York, April 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reportlinker.com announces the release of the report "Razor Market Research Report: By Type, Segment, Distribution Channel, Blade Type, Consumer - Revenue Estimation and Demand Forecast to 2030" - https://www.reportlinker.com/p06272199/?utm_source=GNW From an estimated $17,405.4 million in 2021, the global razor market size will likely rise to $20,866.6 million by 2030, at a 2.0% CAGR between 2021 and 2030. This presents lucrative opportunities for key consumer goods companies, such as The Procter & Gamble Company, Dorco Co. Ltd., Edgewell Personal Care Company, Societe BIC S.A., Feather Safety Razor Co. Ltd., OSCAR RAZOR, Harry’s Inc., Koninklijke Philips N.V., Dollar Shave Club Inc., and Wahl Clipper Corporation. To leverage the growing consumer base, these enterprises have already started focusing strongly on product launches. For instance, a new skincare and shaving brand, Planet Kind, was launched by Gillette in February 2021. The products under the brand are made using 85% recycled plastic, paper, or aluminum. Exactly a year earlier, the company had launched the Gillette TREO razor, which has a safety comb built into it. Key Findings of Razor Market Report • The rising disposable income is driving the industry by allowing people to purchase use-and-throw razors, rather than using the same piece repeatedly, after cleaning the blade. • The growth of the razor market is also a direct result of the strengthening focus on personal grooming. With the increasing influence of the Western culture, men and women both are doing more than ever to look good, where razors play an important role. • The demand for electric variants is growing at the highest rate because of their ease of use and suitability for those who like keeping stubble and beards. • With an increasing number of women entering the workforce and becoming conscious of their appearance, sales of razors are surging faster among them than among men. • Hypermarkets and supermarkets remain the preferred places for people to shop for these products as these settings offer a wide assortment of brands under one roof. • APAC is the largest razor market because it is home to the most people in the world. Additionally, with the rising purchasing power in the region, the sale of these and other personal care products is burgeoning. Around the world, people are rapidly shifting to subscription-based razor purchasing over repeatedly going to the store or ordering online. In recent years, several consumer product companies have launched the subscription model, wherein a set number of razors are delivered to people’s homes every month. Among the prominent companies that are offering these products on subscription are The Procter and Gamble Company and Dollar Shave Club. The razor market is set to witness rapid growth in India in the coming years, primarily on account of the growing disposable income in the country. With more to spend than before, people in the nation are shifting from low-quality, cheap variants to branded ones. This is being aided by the reduction of prices by personal care firms in order to target the mass consumer base. NEW YORK (Reuters) -Billionaire investor William Ackman, who had raised $4 billion in the biggest-ever special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), told investors he would be returning the sum after failing to find a suitable target company to take public through a merger. The development is a major setback for the prominent hedge fund manager who had initially planned for the SPAC to take a stake in Universal Music Group last year when these investment vehicles were all the rage on Wall Street. In a letter sent to shareholders on Monday, Ackman highlighted numerous factors, including adverse market conditions and strong competition from traditional initial public offerings (IPOs), that thwarted his efforts to find a suitable company to merge his SPAC with.

Making sense of the markets is the overriding task for investors, at all times, but in today’s environment it’s more urgent than ever. It’s not so much the downward trend on Wall Street, with the S&P 500 down 19% year-to-date, but the whirl of conflicting headwinds that make up the background. The June jobs numbers were described as strong – a positive factor – but inflation remains intractably high, and the Federal Reserve, to combat inflation, has switched its policy to increasing interest rat

Asked at a conference about fraud in financial markets where he saw potential fraud, Left told the audience: "I think crypto is just complete fraud, over and over and over." He did not say whether he had investments in cryptocurrencies.

The average retail investor, looking for a route toward profits in today’s confusing market environment, can usually choose one of two basic strategies. The first is the traditional stock market path, that of share appreciation, while the second is the safer, more defensive, route through dividend payers. But what if an investor doesn’t need to choose between these routes? A number of dividend champs are offering potential investors a double whammy right now: to go along with high dividend yield

Novavax Inc. (NASDAQ: NVAX) said Monday the Biden administration has reached a deal to purchase 3.2 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, contingent on whether it is cleared by federal regulators for emergency use. (Reuters) -A federal judge said Subway can be sued for allegedly deceiving customers about its tuna products, including a claim it uses other fish species, chicken, pork and cattle instead of the advertised "100% tuna." U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar in San Francisco called it premature to accept Subway's argument that any presence of non-tuna DNA might result from eggs in mayonnaise, or cross-contact with other ingredients that its restaurants' employees handle. "Although it is possible that Subway's explanations are the correct ones, it is also possible that these allegations refer to ingredients that a reasonable consumer would not reasonably expect to find in a tuna product," Tigar ruled on July 7.

Going into the second half of the year, the market sentiment is growing clearer. First, there is a sense that the 1H collapse may be bottoming out – or at least falling to a plateau and a pause before further drops. Second, there is a growing consensus that a recession is in the offing, on a one-year time frame or possibly less. A minority opinion holds that a true downturn is already on us; but we won’t know for certain until the Q2 growth numbers are released later this month. What does this m

LONDON (Reuters) -Western energy majors will cut output and lose billions of dollars if Russia, as is feared, suspends a pipeline that is almost the only export route for oil from land-locked Kazakhstan, company sources, traders and analysts say. The closure of the CPC pipeline that carries oil from Kazakhstan to the Black Sea Russian export terminal in the port of Novorossiisk would shut in more than 1% of global oil supply, exacerbating what is already the most severe energy crunch since the Arab oil embargo in the 1970s. The pipeline, which runs through Russian territory and is owned by a consortium of Western, Asian, Russian and Kazakh companies, has been in the spotlight since Russia on Feb. 24 invaded Ukraine in what Moscow calls a "special military operation".
